Disney Hotel Lady

Unlocking the magic of Disneyland, one hotel at a time.

Courtesy Inn, Best Western

The Courtesy Inn is a small Best Western property on the north side of Disneyland.

There is a small lobby and breakfast room. Breakfast is included with your rate. Outside next to the vending and ice machines, there is a small patio with some seating. There is also a pool and hot tub.

The parking lot is very small, so this may not be a great place if you have a car with you. We always did find a spot, but the possibility of running out of parking spaces was a concern for us.

There is a tiny elevator, so don’t worry about having to haul your luggage up 3 flights of stairs if you get a high-floor room. But, as mentioned, the elevator is tiny, so you may have to make multiple trips.

The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. We did “complain” when we checked out that the only coffee pods we had in our room were decaf. The guy behind the desk jovially reminded us that all Best Western properties have coffee available 24/7 in the lobby.

This was the first room I can remember staying in where the A/C was controlled by remote control! Also, you need your wall plugs here; not too many USB-only outlets to charge devices.

Let’s get to the pics!

Here’s where the property is in relation to Disneyland (blue dot represents Courtesy Inn):

I read some reviews that complained about the location of this property, that this was a “shady” area. I just want to counter that with, it really depends on where you are from. As you can see in the above image, the property is – as my husband described it – “in the back stage area” of Disneyland. Ball Road is not the “main corridor” of tourist activity, so it will be a lot less crowded than what you’ll see on Harbor or Katella.

We felt totally safe here. But please: Remember to please use proper cautions when traveling.

Courtesy Inn is a fine budget choice for your Disneyland vacation.
