Unlocking the magic of Disneyland, one hotel at a time.

Stanford Inn & Suites

Today we’ll have a look at the Stanford Inn & Suites. This hotel had the most amenities out of all the hotels we visited on our Budget Hotel Tour 2024. Stanford Inn offers onsite laundry facilities, gym, pool, hot tub, and breakfast. They also have family suites, which is where we stayed so you’ll get to see that type of room.

Stanford Inn is about 1 1/4 mile from Disneyland, so it can be quite the hike if you’re planning to walk. Other budget options in this area include Magnolia Tree, Capri Suites, and Anaheim Carriage Inn – the only one of which we have not stayed at so far is the Carriage Inn. This grouping of budget hotels is just north of Joe’s Italian Ice & Ice Cream (an Anaheim classic!) on Harbor between Orangewood and Chapman. To put it into perspective further, at the corner of Chapman and Harbor is where Target is and the “last” grouping of hotels in the area. So this group of budget hotels is pretty close to as far as you can get from Disneyland.

Therefore, we definitely recommend taking the ART bus to Disneyland instead of walking. The ART bus stops right outside of the Stanford Inn.

Unfortunately, we both overslept breakfast time here, so we only have a picture of the outside dining area.

We were very comfortable here. Considering the amenities offered and the nightly rates you can find here, we think this would be an excellent option for large families.
