Best Disneyland-area Hotels 2024
As 2024 ends and we step into 2025, everyone begins looking back while also planning for the future.
Disney Hotel Lady was able to visit many great properties this year. And some “not so great” ones. But we prefer to focus on the positive. So let’s recap our favorite Disneyland-area hotels from 2024, in no particular order.
HOTEL LULU
Early in the year, Hotel Lulu became a fast favorite due to the welcome (adult beverage!), reasonable nightly rates, great pool area, cute decor, and walkability to Disneyland.
DoubleTree Suites was a favorite due to sheer size of the room achievable in their suites here. If you need a lot of space that’s easy on the wallet, DoubleTree Suites is for you!
This year was our first stay in a Westin & it won our heart with the massagers for rent you can bring back to your room. Time for your feet & legs to say “aahhhhhhh.” Find out other reasons we liked it here.

HIDDEN GEM HOTEL OF THE YEAR
Knott’s Hotel at Knott’s Berry Farm took home the prize for our Hidden Gem Hotel of the Year for 2024.
Now you might be wondering, Why is the Knott’s Hotel on a list of best hotels from the DISNEY Hotel Lady?
Well, I’m here to help you find a great hotel with some proximity to Disneyland (and other Disney properties eventually.) Knott’s Berry Farm is only a 15 minute drive from Disneyland. Plus, Knott’s Hotel offers a free shuttle to Disneyland for hotel guests! The shuttle combined with amazing nightly rates, a recent extensive refurbishment, and the fact this hotel is often overlooked really sent this hotel to the top of our list.
